Requirements:         Must be a high school graduate.

Amount:                 $5,000
Requirements:         Essay, SAT scores, and current GPA letter of recommendation.
 
11/20/2010      NOVARTIS PHARMACEUTICALS CORPOORATION SCIENCE
                        SCHOARSHIP
Amount:                 $2,500
Requirements:         The Novartis Science Scholarship is awarded to a
                              graduating senior, with a demonstrated financial
                              need and recognized scholastic achievement, who
                              is planning to continue their education in the health
                              science, at either a two or four year college.  Return
                              application to Mr. Gmahling in the Counseling office
                              by Nov 20th.

12/01/10          BOSTON UNIVERSITY TRUSTEE SCHOLARSHIP
Amount:                 A four-year, full-tuition scholarship to BU
Requirements:         Must have been excepted to Boston University.                                               

12/01/10          THE ELKS NATIONAL FOUNDATION

Amount:                 $4,000 - $60,000
Requirements:         Must be a high school senior and a US citizen, financial need, leadership.

12/09/2010      PRESIDENTIAL SCHOLARSHIP (FRESNO)
Amount:                 Full in-state tuition and fees
Requirements:          Minimum 3.6 GPA, SAT of 1800 or above, top 10% of graduating class.  Nomination process.

12/10/2010      COMCAST
Amount:                 $1,000
Requirements:         Must have a GPA of 2.8 or higher, demonstrate leadership abilities in school activities community service. Return application to Mr. Gmahling in the counseling office by Nov. 20th.

12/31/10          SCHOLARSHIP EXPERTS: “TOP TEN LIST”
Amount:                 $1,000
Requirements:         Open to all U.S. students 13 years of age or older, 200 word essay.  Apply on line at www.scholarshipexperts.com/apply.htx

01/15/2012      SOMOMA STATE UNIVERSITY SCHOALRSHIP PROGRAM
Amount:                 $250 - $3,750 per year
Requirements:          Application submitted on line, narrative, two letters of recommendation, financial need statement.

Amount:                 $2,500
Requirements:          Essay must contain at least 700 words but no more than 800 on the topic “How My Education Is The Key To A Successful Future”

02/15/2011      MAHATMA RICE/UNIVISION RADIO SCHOLARSHIP
Amount:                 $2,000
Requirements:         To enter, students must complete an essay of 150 to 250 words on the given topic: “How Do I Believe My Studies In College Will Change My Life?”  Apply on line at:   www.mahatmarice.com/scholarship

 

04/04/11          CALIFORNIA WINE GRAPE GROWERS FOUNDATION
Amount:                 $2,000 for two years, or $8,000 for four years.
Requirements:         Must be a graduating high school senior that plans to
                              attend a University of Californian, California State
                              University, or California community college in the
                              fall of 2011.  A parent or legal guardian who is /was
                              a wine grape grower during the 2010 or 2011 season.
                              Attach highs school transcripts, SAT or ACT scores,
                              letter of recommendation, and a 500 word essay.
