Grants and Workshops
GRANTS
The Board of Education should be informed when grants are being worked on or approved.
Teachers should notify a site administrator when applying for all grants.
Solano Community Foundation- Mini-Grants up to
$1,000 for projects that enhance curriculum and classroom instruction in one of these areas:
1. Arts and Culture, 2. Health and Wellness, 3. Media and Technology, 4. Math and Science, and
5. Reading and Literacy. Deadline to apply is 5 p.m. Friday, November 18, 2011.
VPEF.org
Teacher mini-grants of $500 (or $1,000 for two or more teachers) are available from VPEF. Grants
should focus on Educational Enrichment or Educational Opportunities. For details or to apply
download the grant form in Microsoft Word. Deadline is Oct. 3, 2011.
