Kid's Space - This NASA site offers nine different space activities. Find out your weight on the moon, visit the Space Cadet Academy for kids and learn about space exploration, read animated stories, take a space quiz, and play games.

Windows to the Univierse - includes some great animations on the orbiting of planets and comets, along with many other pictures and articles on all the topics covered in space curriculum.

Discovery Museum of Sacramento - History Center and Science and Space Center

Destination Mars - This is CNN's site dedicated to the explorations of Mars. It includes overage of the Mars Pathfinder and Mars Global Surveyor missions, links to other Mars related sites, and background information on Mars and plans for future missions to Mars.

NASA AmesResearch Center: Galileo Probe - This site is one of the best for general space curriculum.

NASA K-12 Internet: Live from the Hubble Space Telescope - Activities for teachers to use. Good format for lesson plans.

NASA/Kennedy Space Center Home Page - One of NASA's richest websites, an index of NASA on-line. Links are provided to virtually all other public NASA servers including historical, current and recent missions, contractors, and space related organizations.

StarChild - an excellent site for students (grades 3-6) to explore what makes up the universe. The site is broken into two levels: basic astronomy concepts for students that have had little to no exposure to astronomy; and a more complicated level. Each area of astronomy that is covered has terminology that is hot linked to a glossary to help the reader comprehend the explanations. This site is an excellent primer for teacher and student novice astronomers.

Students for the Exploration and Development of Space (SEDS) - Good searches for a variety of space topics. Pictures and information on Skylab, Apollo, etc.
